If you are a manufacturer or a business owner, you know for a fact that your high end and high priced products and services in your brochure printing provide you with a benefit – that the top-of-the-line items target clients who have the money to spend. In fact, your superior products in your color brochure printing meet the high end needs of a select group of your target clients. And small they may seem, but they do provide you with significant profits because they can pay for what you have to offer.

But there is an underlying benefit that your company can get from your superior products. You also have to consider that high end products can provide your less superior items with an attractive advantage. When consumers cannot afford the high priced item, they will more likely go for the next-high priced product as a compromise.

This is one powerful tool to have when you present your products and services in your brochure printing. With so many items to choose from, your color brochure printing can provide the means for the less superior products to become ‘items of compromise’, thus giving them the opportunity to be sold like pancakes.

A lot of businesses have been shifting to digital advertisements these days. Today you will find electronic newsletters, online brochures, webpage catalogs and electronic greeting cards common place. This does not mean however that you should shift your whole business ideology to Internet based publishing content. You do not have to dump that newsletter printing budget, or throw away your trifold brochures. Actual printed mediums still have their place in this electronic world. Case in point, we have the example of newsletter printing.

A lot of websites these days offer subscriptions for their electronic newsletters. They see it as a cheap alternative to printing newsletters in “real life”. Also, with the distribution ability of the speed of light it seems like a win-win situation. However, there are a lot of disadvantages to electronic newsletters that actual newsletter printing solves and improves upon. These advantages are always well worth the money invested in printing them. If you are unconvinced, then here are some of the advantages of newsletter printing over the electronic kind.

The first and most obvious advantage is that printed newsletters do not require special equipment to be read. Unlike “e-newsletters” that need to have a computer and an Internet connection, normal newsletters can be read immediately when given to you. You can read it at any time and at any place. No power or electricity required no wires and no worries.

Business cards are a unique form of marketing in that they are more closely linked to whoever is handing them out. With certain exceptions like flyers, most advertising is going to reach the customer without any face to face meeting with you. They will see posters on the wall or pick up brochures out of a holder, and you are rarely going to be there when this happens.

Business cards are just as much a marketing tool as those other advertisements, but the kind of relationship you have with your business card printing is going to be considerably different. Sure, you can have business cards get passed around without you personally being involved, but this is not the norm, and this still does not change the relationship you share with your business card.

Because of this you have to consider certain things when making business cards that really would not matter with other marketing. The biggest question is whether or not your business card is going to be about you personally, or about your company as a whole. The emphasis will greatly change the type of business card printing you get done.

You are about to release a product in the next few months. The time has come to start generating some nice, solid excitement about it. What kind of advertising push do you use?

The first thing you do is figure out the right types of advertisements for your product. Is your product simple and straightforward? Will a person easily be able to figure out what your product is and what it does? Do you need a lot of space to show the product, or do you primarily just need to talk about it?

All of these questions are going to specifically apply to how you go about marketing your product. Let us say you have a highly visual product. The best thing about marketing your product will be showing it to people. For something like this you will want to focus on poster printing or some other form of highly visible marketing.

Of all the templates you could create I would say that brochure templates probably give you the most freedom.

To elaborate, when it comes to a small advertisement like a postcard, if you have a very simple, basic template that you keep reusing, people are going to be more likely to notice. There are naturally fewer elements in a postcard and so when those elements are used again and again, people will begin to see, and the postcard will be less effective.

With a brochure you have a lot of different things that you are working with. Brochures are naturally multiple pages when folded in a certain way, and so even if you use the same brochure template for a large number of them, people will not be as likely to notice.

So what does go into a good brochure template?

The front of your brochure needs to accomplish two different things. The first is it needs to grab a person’s attention and the second thing it needs to do is let them know what they are going to be reading about. The title itself can act as the attention grabber, but often you will see the front of full color brochures have some brilliant image on them as well.

One of the worst things you can do in marketing is assume that you are doing better than you actually are.

Usually this comes from a person deciding they know what is going to work without actually doing any research to back it up. It might be about some design aspect of their marketing or it might come down to the type of marketing they will need to use. No matter what it ends up being there comes the risk of overestimating the success your marketing is going to have, or assuming far more than you have evidence to support.

On a small scale this is a lot easier to do than you might imagine, and I see it happen all the time. It is not as if people are going out of their way to boost themselves up a lot, but they merely make a miscalculation that might cost them quite a bit in the long run.

To make my point here is a mistake I made myself a few years ago and did my best to learn from. I was going to a tradeshow and I had just recently gotten a new batch of business card printing done. Now, I thought my card was incredible at the time. I had done a variety of things with it that I had never really tried before, and because of that I just assumed everyone else would view my card in the same way.

This led to me bringing less material with me than normal because I decided to rely more heavily on my custom business card to get people talking and start up my sales.
